Pacquiao opens the door to McGregor

The Manny Pacquiao camp does not close its potential clash with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) star Conor McGregor in a title fight.
According to MP Promotions chief Sean Gibbons, Pacquiao's team is ready to study any offers that come with the McGregor fight.
“If someone wanted to (fight) the Senator, why not? Conor is a good boxer, ”Gibbons said.
Gibbons pointed out that Pacquiao's focus is now on competing with the best welterweight boxers in his World Boxing Association (WBA) title defense in April.
“Right now, the Senator is still concentrating on the best 147-pounders in the world. Just looking for the best business for the Senator, ”Gibbons said.
There has been no formal announcement of who Pacquiao will be next in the line-up with Danny Garcia, Mikey Garcia, Shawn Porter, and Errol Spence Jr. - the four best boxers in the world in the welterweight class.
McGregor revealed that he had negotiated to face the Pinoy champion last year. But McGregor did not have a clear answer as to why this was not followed.
“We're actually close to signing Manny. There was an offer made on that, yeah, just not yet. (It's going to happen) very much so. I'm going to get a boxing title soon, ”McGregor said.
McGregor's name came to a head when he faced undefeated American fighter Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2017.
McGregor's strength failed when he suffered a 10th-round technical knockout loss to Mayweather at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
