RHL Activities have been asked for years now to extend the Maxxis British Championship to a weekend event which would then be able to include youth races. RHL have listened and in recent weeks have battled through tons of hard work and have now announced they have done it! With support from the ACU, April will see the first British Motocross Championship festival!

"For me this is something I have wanted to do with RHL for a number of years since we ran the Handlebar Festival in 2009, which saw the likes of Jeffrey Herlings competing. With the support of the ACU, we are looking forward to the very first British Motocross Championship festival.

"The team and myself are already busy working away on plans for the event, whilst beginning conversations with manufacturers and the industry. I can definitely say it will be an event no-one will want to miss. With RHL Activities' expertise in organising events and the support from those competing in the championships, we can hopefully turn this one-of-a-kind weekend into an annual occasion."

The main part of the event will still include the second round of the Maxxis British Championship, then the Judd British Youth Nationals will kick off the season that weekend at the event which will be held at Culham. The event will run through 30th March to April 1st.
