Wo0ho0!! The long wait is over! The pain of the quiet months is now over, the dark months are gone and we get a feast of bike action! Yeesss!

Race day is here and with it comes the anticipation and excitement that only the start of a new season of Supercross can deliver. So steemers who will ride his way to the top step of the podium tonight? Let's take a look at some of the contenders.

Ken Roczen

So without a shadow of a doubt every ones eyes tonight will be on the likable German rider. If he manages to pull this off and climb onto the podium today then it will be one of the best comeback stories in Supercross. There is no doubt he has the mental strength to do it the questions are on how extensive the fallout will be on his injuries and if he has the ability to shrug off any problems in the season. Good luck Kenny, i for one will be rooting for you.

Cooper Webb

Another rumor filled team is the Monster Energy Knich Yamaha outfit! Cooper Webb was the talk of the town when he moved up to the premier division last season, especially after being so dominant in the 250 class. Unfortunately he has had quite a few setbacks over the last year but i think that cloud has moved on and we can expect some of the old Cooper back for 2018.

Jason Anderson

I can still remember that surprise main event win at the season finale in Las Vegas, i was lucky enough to be right there in the crowd watching it! Anderon has one of the guys in the elite top flight that can and will put himself into race winning positions. He has to control his red mist though as he has the tenancy to piss off a lot of riders with his aggressive riding style. One to watch for sure, even if it's for the fun parts haha.

Marvin Musquin

The king of the off season is in absolutely scorching form at the moment. You name it, he won it from the Straight Rhythm to the Monster cup. He even became the second rider ever to do a clean sweep and pocket a cool $1,000,000! There is no doubt in my mind he will be on the podium more than off it and i think he is a sure fire contender for the title.

Eli Tomac

He suffered a shaky start to the 2017 Monster Energy Supercross season and had quite a few problems with his bike which seemed to unsettle him a bit. That being said it started to click mid way through the season and he push on to claim nine rounds from the seventeen on the calendar, pretty impressive stuff. I still remember him powering through the ranks of bikes after a bad start like a hot knife through butter. Beast of a rider when things are going well but the cracks start to show when the pressure hits... Can the outdoor champ make it a clean sweep and take the indoors?

It's going to be an action packed night tonight guys, i can't wait and im counting down the hours haha.
