Factory Honda HRC have announced that they have signed Christian Craig for the rest of the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross Series aboard the Factory CRF450R. This means he will have to drop out of the 250 SX West season he was currently contesting but that does not come as a huge surprise. Not only will he be the only rider for the flagship Honda team but rumours were flying around about him being pre-registered for the upcoming 450 races since Atlana.

"Team Honda HRC is happy to announce that Christian Craig will fill in aboard a factory CRF450R for the remainder of the AMA Supercross season."

I for one am not surprised at them pulling him from the 250 West, Honda need someone to star in the 450 class. Craig not only rode well but consistently pulls holeshots in a field of very talented riders! No mean feat! He also finished the Main Events 6-7-5 which is pretty damn amazing.

Craig is currently sith in the 250 SX West championship standings so i think it's a decent decision. There were some crazy rumours that Chad Reed would fill the spot but this puts those to bed for now at least haha.
