AMA Lucas Oil Motocross Round 7 Southwick 2017 Crashes & reflect
Man Southwick is an insanely brutal track! Every single race that first corner took people out! Carnage!
My most good/bad part of the day was Musquins return to form. The Frenchman has had to sit back a bit following a knee injury but he came out swinging at Southwick! Was so gutted when he was taken down a few corners in... What shows true fighting spirit though is how he came out fighting for moto 2! Bam! leading the field, then... lady luck deserted him. He hit a jump at a weird angle and was super lucky to walk away with out anything, not just for him but man that was close to the pits! I really feel for him because you can see it written all over his face when he pulls off the track.
Barcia! Now dont get me wrong... lately i have had a few issues about his riding 'style'. For me he has always been a little aggressive, i can handle 'racing' but when you push a guy off the track when he was racing his line... :/ hmmm
Either way, the way he rode at Southwick should have given him more than that... i mean this crash gave away a podium spot :(

Man, this dude frustrates me every week! man... SO MUCH TALLENT! just ride within your reach and you can be podium 24/7
Don't get me wrong, dude has a ton of skill, just need to ride safe and realize it!

Guy can ride like you can't even dream of but that track proved the better of him. I get it... Southwick is a bitch! My boy kept his groove and maybe a bit too strong... as McElrath found out.. :/

Jeez these look like some more nasty crashes.
So fast and furious and competitive, they just don't care about one another, just winning.
But I guess that's what you have to do in the name of sport
When you talk to these guys you get a different perspective!They actually realy do care but yes, racing comes first.. They all know this though! it might seem aggressive and care free but they do hold off around their competitors.
