The Diary Game (25-09-2022) - A Chilaxing Day With My Pastor 🤓

Greetings everyone, i hope you all are having a fulfilling day 😃. I am here with my diary game post for Sunday 25th September, 2021 as highlighted in the title.

I woke up from bed really late, and was taken aback by what i noticed, "The lights were still on". This meant that there was electricity on a Sunday morning 😲. I quickly pressed my dresses with my electric iron and later dashed into the bathroom to take my bath. Just after my rubdown, i noticed that there was a complete tranquility throughout the neighbourhood, "the electricity supply was cut off as expected", it was inevitable and just a question of when😃. I quickly dressed up (didn't put on my shoes yet) and shaped up my hair with a comb, ran to church and got the container for fuel (for the generator). I purchased 6 litres of fuel at 600 FCFA (~4.20 STEEM) per litre, summing up the total amount to 3,600 FCFA (~25.17 STEEM)

I ran back to church and filled the generator with fuel, then quickly turned it on and flipped the switch from direct supply to the generator.

Having passed through all this, it goes without saying that i settled down in church later than anticipated; the service had already started. It was my responsibility to make available fuel before service, so as to eliminate all forms of disappointments from the electricity company, ENEO.

I joined the service at 10am (over an hour late) and the pastor took over few minutes later. The service ran from 9am to 2pm. I can confidently say that everyone present was blessed immensely.

After the service, our pastor stayed back and dedicated over an hour, addressing the cases of those who wanted to see him one on one. I was rooted to the ground since i am seemingly his acting P.A (Personal Assistant).

After we were done, our pastor left with one of his sons (one of the pastors he is mentoring), alongside his able P.A (me 😁). Shortly after walking, we reached the first stop (which was my house) and he asked me to go buy him some gizzard from my favourite spot. I was about responding that i had no money, i suddenly recalled the 1,000 FCFA (~7.00 STEEM) which i had stashed away. I went in and pulled it out, then presented to him. I said, "aren't you going to buy it? Come walk with us. I quickly kept my books and tagged along. We got to the spot and he asked me to join them, what a privilege. I got a sit opposite to him, and placed an order for the roasted gizzard. I ended up substituting it for roasted chicken since the gizzard was still being prepared.

He (my pastor) then asked us to make a choice of drink to be served to us as we chill and relax (ChiLax) a little. He spoke some works of wisdom and caused us to laugh in the process. He is indeed a man bestowed with so much knowledge, and has the talent to teach it rightly.

I then left for home around 4:30pm since i felt the need to give them some privacy to talk on matters that surpass my understanding. I went back home and my grand mum reminded me of the request she made the previous day. She wanted me to go get her a good phone. I collected the money and went in search of a good phone around 7pm. The amount at my disposal was 10,000 FCFA (~70.00 STEEM).

Bearing in mind that she prefers a phone with a lasting battery life, loud enough speaker, and a large font size, i located the perfect phone for her as displayed below.

However, i couldn't take it with me home because its price was 15,000 FCFA (~104.90 STEEM).

I later on settled for a less costly device which was priced at a slightly higher price than the amount i had at my disposal. After a moment of bargaining, the shop owner succumbed to my offer of 10,000FCFA (~70.00 STEEM) for the phone.

I was pleased with the phone and i successfully took it home. I later stayed put, and got glued to my phone as i finalized with all works related to the engagement challenge. I did this till the next day, and i finally slept off without knowing. It was in stressful, yet fulfilling day.
