Monthly Food gifts For Underprivileged Families.

Dear Steemians,

As part of our monthly food allocation program for selected families, we allocated 8 bags of foods this month to 8 different families. We have been continuing the program for more than 2 years and we seldom share the campaign in social media. I love to share here as it is a matter for me and for my followers.

We had vegetable oil, onion, potatoes, salt and pulses and rice for each family in the bags. We added something extra this month. We added chicken as a donation for each family.

Tonight evening, the family members came to our home to take the gifts. Here are the chicken waiting to go with them. I hope the family will have a nice dinner today. and also they can use the food gifts for a few days.

Here is a woman taking chicken while leaving our home. She is a cancer patient and was too week to take the food gifts. So her daughter took the bag and was waiting outside. My brother later helped them to find a rickshaw and go to home. She is getting weaker day by day and can't afford to continue treatment.

Here is another family who was leaving with a happy face.

One of my friend @futurethinker donated 2 Steem last month and he asked me to add the steem for this month. I did add an equivalent amount of Steem as cash for the allocation program. I appreciate his support though I don't focus fundraising to continue the program as we want to do it as we have been doing. If we need fundraising, I will sure mention it in the post. I am glad to have support in my post which makes me happy and give me the freedom to use anywhere I want.
