Hello dear, Friends!
My name is Azhar Ali.My second achievement was verfied by @amjadshraif, for which I am grateful.
I'm currently working on achievement task #3, which involves plagiarism. I hope that by writing this essay, I may increase awareness about plagiarism.

What is plagiarism?

Plagiarism occurs when you claim ownership of someone else's work and act as if it were your own.Plagiarism is a serious crime that should be avoided at all costs. Plagiarism also implies that the plagiarist is a fraud rather than an original, tarnishing the plagiarist's reputation.

Types of Plagiarism

They are different types of plagiarism
In which we explained some

(1)MOSAIC PLAGIARISM
When an author uses the same ideas and phrases from another person's work to create a new article without properly citing it, this is known as mosaic plagiarism. The document looks to be ‘new' in most cases of plagiarism, but the concepts and language are not. In other words that belong to someone else, there are no reference marks. It could also be the use of words that are similar in meaning to those used by an author, as well as the use of the same arrangement, all of which will result in the same content meaning.

(2)SELF PPLAGIARISM
When you use an old/prior work for any form of new achievement or for new purposes without first receiving permission from the receiver of the previous work you did, you are committing self plagiarism. Self-plagiarism is when you repeat your previously submitted work in one community and then utilise it in another.

(3)Direct Plagiarism
Direct plagiarism is when someone copies someone else's work verbatim without citing the source. This is a popular question among students. It is not permitted on steemit.
Is the act of plagiarising someone else's work or a quote without properly attributing the sources.

(4)Complete plagiarism
When I take someone else's study and present it under my own name, this is referred to as plagiarism.

(5)Accidental plagiarism
Another common scenario is this one. When you fail to properly cite the text or picture source, or when you quote an author inaccurately.

How to Avoid plagiarism

Always make a note of where you got the information you used in your work. To explain a subject in your own words, you must read and absorb it independently.Make a note of the source of each item of information you come across when conducting research and taking notes for your assignment. Forgetting is one method pupils plagiarise.

Quote and paraphrase

You must either paraphrase or quote the original text if you want to communicate a thought or piece of information from a source in your work.

WHAT IS CITATION?

When the words used in a write-up are not your own or have been mentioned previously, you must give citation to indicate that the words used were not your own.Citation, as we've seen, is the act of giving out or writing down the sites where you receive your sources for your articles. Making proper citations to your sources.

For example
Whatever goes up must inevitably come down, according to the laws of gravity.

How to cite a text

When you wish to cite a text, you will type the title of the text or the author's name into Google to search for it, and when you do, you will see it and be able to read or download it.

Conclusion

I have read and understand steemit etiquette on steemit community,I will do my best to embrace them.

Thanks for your time
Regard
