Creating cool fractal content in Mandlebulb 3D can be pretty entertaining and very time consuming. Depending on how much detail and how many fractal photos you create will impact the amount of time to process them on your system. I created one project that resulted in multiple images that ended up needing 200 mb per image and close to 15 gigabytes hard drive space. Depending on your system specifications a project like that could take anywhere from a half day on up to a few days for lower end processors. I am currently using a Ryzen 1700 which does a decent job but I am putting together a 1950x threadripper system to compare it with.

The learning curve in Mandlebulb 3D is fairly low but it can be a bit daunting when you look at it for the first time. Youtube has tons of tutorials if you ever want to try it out on your system, but be warned creating fractal photos and video can become quite addictive. I am still learning and have not explored the multitude of features you can use in this free project. It only runs on windows but I have read it will also install and run on linux using wine, but I have yet to explore this option. I hope the images encouraged some of you to check out MandleBulb 3D and see what fascinating images you can create.
