I think there is big gap between rich and poor, that even exist in steemit. New accounts/minnows will be running to gain more power, to earn something. Only few will be creating new friends,bonds In between this rush. And those people (those who create relations here) will be the ultimate winners in steem by earning more power as well. Others section will get disappointed and quits finally. There should be some way by which the quality works should get rewarded even it is from a new account. That will keep them motivated.
When I came here I was under the impression that steemit was somehow a new world where things would be different, but it's just an extension of he old world. We can try to make it better, but the same problems DO exist.
The good new stuff is it's a very creative and intelligent user base so if you make an extra effort to make friends and understand that money is still motivating a lot of interaction here, you can find a niche or begin to carve out your own, as I am doing. Steemit is still part of a messed up society but there are lots of decent people here, both minnows and whales among them.
Yes, Those decent people who have the kindness to help others are the heart beats of steemit. I hope i am not wrong. And i dont have words to appreciate them, there are many here.
