Thank you Lord for Saving Me!

It happened that i didn't sleep all through the night yesterday till 4:27am and i didn't had dinner, i only had a cucumber and was busy all the night.

At 5am, i was extremely hungry and tired too, so i decided to boil some plantain to eat. There was light so i used the electric cooker. I peeled the plantain and pluged the cooker to the room switch because the switch in my kitchen recently got bad and i have not had the time to repair it, so i put it on fire and then i layed down to wait for it to get done.

I was monitoring it while laying but i didn't know when i slept off, and i don't know how i finally wake up, but when i woke up, my entire room was filled with dark smoke and i was already suffocating, i think it was the soffocation and burnt smell that woke me up.

I jumped up from the bed and screamed Jesus and at the same time i was filled with fear, i immediately moved to the switch on the wall to off it and ran to the windows to open them wide for more ventilation and at once tried to move the cooker outside but it was extremely hot and burnt my hands, but i didn't mind that and first throw to the door before i looked for a rag to support my hands to completely move it out the entire house to the backyard.

While i was doing that the only thing that keep on ringing in my head was "so that is how i would burn to death from sleep and also destroy the while house" with that i unconsciously started saying "Jesus, thank you, thank you Jesus".

The cooker and the pot was over heated and since there was no means of heat release through evaporation because the water has completely dry off, the heat began to accumulate to the extend that the pot began to melt as a result of too much heat in a confined space.

When i moved the cooker out with the rag, before i got outside the rag caught fire and started burning, so i ran quickly and throw it outside, ran inside back to get some water to quench it and also to cool the cooker.

After i was done with that and come back to the room, the room was still very smoky and smelling, so i made sure everywhere was open wide and began to sprinkle water in the room to dispense and dilute the smoke and for quick diffusion.

After doing that it was not enough for me, so i took a large wrapper and began to fan the room because at this point, the power supply was interupted. When the smoke has diffused a little, i noticed the entire room was in a mesh when i was runing in and out with bear foot, so i began to do cleaning, when i finished, the smoke has diffused more and the atmosphere in the room was becoming normal again, then i kept on saying thank you Jesus again with the thought of how i would have died through the incidence and how i was saved.

When i finally settled down and checked time it was just few mins passed 5am, so i didn't even sleep off for a long time, the time i slept was less than 30mins, so many thoughts began to run through my mind; like, "that is how i would have destroy somebody's house with so many souls in it", "if it had happened how will my family know of it?" In all these thoughts, the only thing i could say was "Thank You Jesus".

After everything, i was very tired and very hungry, but the only thing i need most right now is sleep and it was already 6am, not minding its already daybreak, i layed to have some sleep. I was too tensed to take photo of my room during the incidence but this an evidence of what happened today, photos after the senerio!

I woke up around 8:30am, perciving the burnt smell and thoughts starts running throuhg my mind again while the only thing i kept on saying was "Thank You Jesus"

Time has already gone far, so i got up and began to prepared to go out for an appointment and from there i went for business to supply the fishes i recieved yesterday, after making the supply to different customers at different locations, i came back to the house, when i got home, the memories of what happened earlier today began to refresh and i started saying "thank you Jesus" again and again.

No wonder an very, very hungry now, I have not eaten since yesterday and i don't even have the strength to cook now, so i made cucumber sauce which is pleel and sliced cucumber with milk, chocolate and honey. I had that and dashed into my bed to have a nap.

When i woke, i began to prepare to cook a nice recipe, for more strength and vitality. I made yellow soup with Vegetables and Okra and Eba to conpmement it.

After cooking, i freshen up and then had dinner, after which i started to update my diary game having done that i rested from all the stress and trauma of the day.

Thank you Jesus for Saving me today!
