What are the three significant reasons behind environmental pollution? Describe.
Hello everyone, as an environmental manager, am so happy to engage in this contest to share my knowledge about environmental pollution which is one of our major problem in the world today, especially "plastic pollution"
there are so many reason for environmental pollution but the 3 most significant among them are:
Population growth: Population growth is one of the major causes for environmental pollution, in the world today. the increase in the number of people living on planet earth means an increase in waste production which pollutes the environment.
Industrialization: The creation of more and diverse industries which produces and uses various materials for packaging and branding such as plastic bottles, shopping nylon bags and the likes releases more wastes to the environment which causes environmental (land) pollution. Also the release of green house gases by industries causes atmospheric air pollution and the discharge of untreated industrial effluents to the aquatic environment also causes marine pollution.
Poor waste management system: The indiscriminate disposal of waste such as disposal of waste into drainages, which are in-turn carried by runoff into the marine environment is major cause of environmental pollution. the runoff carries pollutants such as heavy metal, plastic bottles and other wastes which affects the biota of waterbodies.
How can we prevent environmental pollution? the 3-Rs are the major means to prevent environmental pollution
Reuse: this means reuse plastic bottles, and shopping bags and if you cant reuse them , then refuse them.
Reduce: This simply means, minimize the number of consumption to reduce the amount of waste release, for example if u consume 5 bottle water a day, then u have to reduce it to one and reuse that one bottle and refill with water for your consumption.
Recycle: Recycling is process of turning waste into a different useful material with the help of some modern technology, actually all waste can be recycled. with these 3 waste prevention methods, environmental pollution can be prevented and managed.
Impact of environmental pollution on humans and other organisms, to mention but a few out of the many:
- Biodiversity loss: death of organisms
- Respiratory disorder in humans
- Causes cancer in humans
- Genetic mutation in humans and other organisms
- Health hazards such as kidney problems, etc.
Have you ever taken part to keep your environment clean?
Yes: am an environmental activist and advocate, just last week Saturday, i took part in a state-wide environmental sanitation in state to mark the 66th birthday of our dear governor; also i always make sure to keep my immediate environment clean and free from pollution always.
Share one message that all humans should keep in their mind;
to keep the environment healthy.
All humans should have in mind that: "Harm the environment and you harm yourself, protect the environment, you protect yourself "

Overpopulation and industrialization have been key factors in the contamination of the planet, therefore it has caused ills and diseases to thousands of people and also to the environment.
Applying the 3 "R's" is one of the most efficient methods in practice to create a healthier environment for everyone.

প্রথমে ধন্যবাদ জানাই আপনাকে এত সুন্দর একটি এংগেজমেন্ট এ পার্টিসিপেট করার জন্য।যেখানে আপনি খুব সুন্দর ভাবে প্রত্যেকটি পয়েন্ট তুলে ধরেছেন, কিভাবে আমরা আমাদের পরিবেশ দূষিত করছি, এবং কি কি কারণে দূষিত হচ্ছে । সে বিষয়ে বেশ কিছু কথা শেয়ার করলেন।
আমরা চাইলে আমাদের পরিবেশটাকে সুন্দর রাখতে পারি, এটা তো আপনি মানেন। কিন্তু আমরা কয়জন করি, আমাদের মনেই ময়লা। যার জন্য আমাদের পৃথিবীতেও আবর্জনায় ভরে গিয়েছে। তাই আমাদের পৃথিবীটাকে পরিষ্কার রাখতে হলে, আমাদের মনটাকে আগে পরিষ্কার করতে হবে। তাহলেই আমরা আমাদের এই সুন্দর পৃথিবীকে দূষণের হাত থেকে বাঁচাতে পারবো।
আর সর্বশেষ আপনাকে একটা কথা বলার ছিল এটা বলবো যে আপনি খুব ভালোভাবে আপনার প্রেজেন্টেশন টা উপস্থাপন করেছেন। তবে যদি আপনি কয়েকটি ছবি ব্যবহার করতেন, আর কিছুটা মাকডাউন ব্যবহার করতেন।তাহলে আরো বেশি ভালো লাগতো আপনার পোস্টটি।
তাই এরপর থেকে একটু চেষ্টা করবেন আপনার পোস্টটি একটু সুন্দর করে সাজাতে। আর যদি আপনি না জেনে থাকেন তাহলে আমাদের এই কমিউনিটিতে জয়েন হতে পারেন, এবং অবশ্যই আপনাকে সবাই হেল্প করবে। কিভাবে আপনি একটি সুন্দর পোস্ট সাজিয়ে লিখবেন।
