ULOG 11: Completing my whole week sick leave

in #ulog6 years ago

Last night I went back to Manila to go back to work. I went to our office's clinic and submitted some lab results and my medical certificate from my Doctor that says she gave me up to 3 days of rest only. After the Doctor from our office's clinic saw the CT Scan result He said I need to go back home to rest and go back to work after my Pulmonologist give me a certificate of fit to work. Unfortunately the schedule of my follow up visit to my Doctor is on Monday because she is only available at the hospital every Monday. So my supervisor advised me to complete my whole week of sick leave until today Friday and rest. Yehey!!lol...

I left the office last night at 9:30pm and arrived home here in Laguna around 11:30pm.

My Plan for this day

I remember when I was a kid I used to fill my notebooks of drawings. A lot of cartoon drawings. I haven't draw for a long time and the last time I did was just 2 days ago when I joined the "doodle contest". Then I went to my Mom's house this morning to find my pantograph which I used to draw complicated drawings. I'm glad I found it but it was full of dust. So I will clean this up later.

The purpose of pantograph is to copy the exact shape or position of a picture. Then completing the finishing touch using bare hand.

I'm very thankful my pantograph looks fine and still working. I bought it when I was just 13 years old when I was in 1st year high school. So my pantograph is already 22 years..haha.. I will use this to do some art work and post it here or join some art work contest if there is.

I'm also planning to do some exercise using my old mountain bike.

The mountain bike is one of my father's legacy. He bought it for me when I also in 1st year high school when he earn plenty on his tilapia raising business. I'll put some air on its tire later coz it's softens already because I haven't use it for a long time. The smaller bike is @wena's gift to my 2 boys Tim and Matt because of their good performance at school.

I'm also planning to go to our "kaingin" later to get some indian mangoes and bananas since I haven't been there for a while. This is just my Ulog for today! Happy Uloggers people!;-)

I've been to online jobs before but I have a regular job now that's why I stopped. Thanks for sharing anyway. I'll check that out later..;-) 😊

Are sure this is legit? I already checkout the site. Did you already made your own payout? The promises of high payouts seems to good to be true..

I just started it yesterday. :) I just hope it's legit.:)

I already worked online before almost 4 years ago. The website you're talking about doesn't seem legit to me. If you want to work online here's the site I can recommend that I worked before: https://www.fiverr.com, https://www.onlinejobs.ph/, https://www.upwork.com/. By the way here's my account to fiverr https://www.fiverr.com/arielcalma. the profile picture on that is my wife. But I already turned off my gigs on that site because I already have a regular job. It's truly legit because I already got payouts from paypal. But now paypal has a 35$ fee for every widrawal if you're working from the Philippines. https://www.fiverr.com works the same as https://steemgigs.org/ created by @surpassinggoogle which you can offer gigs or services. What I do before on fiverr is "I can be your virtual assistant for 2 hours for 5 dollars". Payouts are really great but not all the time. The biggest money I earned online was 50$ a day but sometimes I don't earn any. Meaning earnings is not consistent that 's why I left working online and applied for a regular job.

That's good to know @ayerz I had no idea that PayPal is charging $35 for withdrawals in the Philippines.

For the past few months paypal had some changes on their policy. One of those policy is the charging of 35$ fee if you're working from the philippines.

I'm happy that you had a good day @ayerz 😀 It's also good that your supervisor gave you a week off! She/he is very kind 😊

Yes he is. He's actually the one who recommends me to go to a Doctor for checkup coz he saw how uncomfortable I am due to my cough. It's good that I feel better now. :-)

That's great news @ayerz 😊

Yes it is..Thanks!😊☺️

@ayerz I was thinking about your schedule earlier today and remembered something about it taking you a couple of hours to travel to Manila. That gave me an idea:

  • If you can find someone that lives nearby who is also traveling to Manila at the same time (maybe a co-worker?) and they have a car, you might be able to carpool with them. One of you could drive on the way there and the other could drive on the way back.

This might not be possible for you right now but if it ever becomes possible you could use the time spent traveling for sleeping or writing.

P.S. I think sleep is something you need to maintain but it might be hard to find time for it.

That could be an option but unfortunately I don't know someone from here who goes to Manila with the same schedule as mine. Also usual travel time from our place going to Manila takes 4-5 hours due to traffic which I can only do 1.5 to 2 hours on a motorcycle and my fuel only cost ₱80 oneway. The only disadvantage driving in a motorcycle is when it rains. I have a raincoat but rain was a hassle every time..lol..😊
