Bencab Museum at Baguio City
Tourist of Baguio shouldn't miss this superb museum full of splendid art collections of our National artist for Visual Arts and best selling painter of his generation, Benedicto Reyes Cabrera, or BenCab, a Filipino brilliant artist. To complete your Baguio City journey, I suggest to list this beautiful spot in your itinerary. You will find out any kinds of arts you could think of- paintings, drawings, sketches, sculpture, art installations, artifacts, and others.
What I truly loved is they showcase more arts featuring how rich Cordilleran cultures from paintings to sculptures. You'll understand how the artist gave them time and dedication to be able to create this magnificent art that was perfectly hanging around the walls. Aside from BenCab arts, artist also around the Philippines had their arts showcased in this museum from time to time, like erotica gallery, Cordillera gallery, indigo gallery.
Upon entering the museum, the accommodating staff welcomes us with a warm smile. We paid our entrance fee and they gave us our guide map at the same time they quickly instructed us about what not to do. Here's a photo of Bencab featured arts I captured:
In the lower part of BenCab they also offer a delightful food with a mesmerizing scenic view of the farm which you can wander around. Bencab was actually surrounded by a magnificent mountain of Benguet, which makes more the museum more fascinating to visit with.
BenCab is located at Km6, Asin the road. We used a private car which approximately takes up to 15 minutes to arrive to our destination. Entrance fee is P100.
There are more arts to check in Bencab but I captured limited photos only. But anyways, the overall Bencab experience is really enjoyable and worth it.
Good job sis.! And I like your captured photos. Awesome.
