Treasure Hunt 2 - Flaxseeds
This is my first entry to pretty new contest hold by @whalepower community and @bullionstackers. Lets see how it will turn out and let's start from hunting for the Seeds!
That actually was not a big deal, since I always do have at home some Lineseed. It can be used as some addition to various dishes, but personally I use it in the morning just taking one spoon on an empty stomach. It is very healthy for digestive system
Some information about Flaxseed (or Lineseeds) taken from WIKIPEDIA:
Flax is grown for its seeds, which can be ground into a meal or turned into linseed oil, a product used as a nutritional supplement and as an ingredient in many wood-finishing products. Flax is also grown as an ornamental plant in gardens. Moreover, flax fibers are used to make linen. Flax fibers taken from the stem of the plant are two to three times as strong as cotton fibers. Additionally, flax fibers are naturally smooth and straight. Linseed meal, the by-product of producing linseed oil from flax seeds, is used as livestock fodder
Since I always have a pack of seed, just had to take a macro lens and to make the series of shots using natural light only.
But, to make things much more interesting, there will be two sets of photos, but lets start from normal Macro lens of 100mm focal distance. It provides pretty close look and interesting bokeh
And now we are coming maybe to more interesting part. The seeds are very small, only few centimetres in length. So even normal macro lens is not really enough to see them closer. But here comes into play very special and magic 1-5x macro lens, providing way too closer view. Real journey into macro world
And finally, as per contest rules here we go with todays date (and pack of seeds)
