Explore Time
This photo was taken on a recent "explore time" with my son, in the woods behind our apartment. My wife isn't much of an "explorer," so I'm really happy that I have somebody that wants to go outside with me and just do random stuff. Whether that's throw about 200 rocks in the creek, or try to break sticks in half it's usually a good time. But honestly, I don't want to say too much, since I'm really hoping @jfolkmann sees this and writes one of his legendary Post Stories on it.

He saw something sparkle between the fallen branches. Bending down he brushed aside the leaves revealing a thin silver ring. He picked it up, it felt warm to the touch, even though it had been sitting in the cold damp earth. Turning it over in his hand he tried to make out the inscription.
Ash nazg thrakatulûk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul.
"My precious." he whispered.

You know, he has been talking a bit more hoarsely recently, and has been losing his hair and crouching a lot. This is all starting to make sense!!

Love watching people use the outdoors as a playground and showing children it's great to explore their own world! We invite our kids to do the same thing, because one day they will be left to take care of the this beautiful, mind blowing place!
Same! It's always fun to go to different parks and see other kids actually engaging outside, instead of their iPads etc etc.
It's always great to have someone that join you for an outdoor adventure (big or small), but when you go with your kids it's just amazing!

Haha, yeah it is! The activities you do outdoors can change, but either way it's usually a blast :)
