Monday Hip Hop Throwbacks!

in #hip-hop9 years ago (edited)

This song was released back in 2000. I remember when I used to cruise around bumping this song and it was always playing in everyones speakers! I always loved the beat and how he flows.

Big Pun was a latino rapper in The Bronx and people loved him! Before his death he had chosen to enroll in a weight loss program because he knew that he was having a problem with his weight. He didn’t stay in the weight loss program for long and he decided to quit. He ended up gaining his weight back and was close to 700 lbs and had a heart attack before he passed away. He had some die hard fans and his memory lives on.

Check out the song that I selected for: Monday’s Hip Hop Throwback!

This song is a classic fire banger, I remember bumping this on the hot summer days cruising around the neighborhood with my cousins and best friends. Good times. Nice post @awarenessraiser
I just posted my song "Queen", both versions, R&B/Soul & the Hip Hop version.
Hope they are musical gems to your ears.
Enjoy, much appreciation

Another throwback song I like is Tech N9ne's "Rain" super deep song

Ayeeeee! Love it!!! It's funny how music can always trigger us to remember what we were doing when we were listening to a song :D

Definitely, it provides that memorable nostalgia and adds extra sentimental value to our favorite songs
