I'M SO HAPPY I FINALLY DID IT!!

in #life9 years ago

After like 5 heavy minutes of my heart beating and my body getting all tense, and let's not forget to mention how my mind was getting all wrapped up too, I conquered my fear and progressed onto the next level. My victory was short-lived, or at least I know that's how it should be. Don't get TOO excited, or else you'll get too cocky.

The reason I do "game" or rather picking up girls in the street is because I'm training my social communication and calibration skills. I want to have a beautiful girlfriend in the future, and the only way to a 9 or 10 is to be pretty high up there yourself too. So what does that entail? Everything from proper health and form to having a good line of work (or you know, wanting to be the CEO ;)) down to the small things such as how you dress, how you style and present yourself and how your social skills look like. If you can't successfully communicate with other humans, few girls will be into that. Or at least if they say they are, it's truthfully because you have some other REALLY redeeming qualities.

In order to have a girl that 99% of society wants, you have to EARN it. That means you might have to go out every week or even every day to work on various habits that years down the line will help you with the probabilities of securing a dope ass supermodel by your side. If you're an introvert, fun! I'm one too. I'm extremely awkward and I get nervous a lot. I'm weird and quite frankly I'm insane (no seriously, I came out of a psych ward!). But you know what? I HATE being comfortably numb. I throw myself into the "cold" world out there because I want to learn some tough life lessons. I want to be sharp and slick. I want to have the cutting edge later on in life so I can slice through the competition.

One of my challenges was to just try out pickup on public transportation. A lot of guys suddenly get extreme anxiety when a hot girl sides beside them or even gets on the bus. You can't freak out all of sudden.. I mean, that's putting them on a pedestal which is weird. It makes them feel nervous too. Girls also REALLY care about their public perception, so even though the bus travelers truly could care less, the girls perception is different. And that matters. A lot.

You have to be socially calibrated enough to make it work or else you'll get rejected in such a cold way that it could scar you for.. a little while ;) DON'T WORRY, girls don't actually bite. Like honestly though, the worst that can happen is a girl tells you to fuck off or some people think you're a creep for a few minutes. But which is creepier: Trying to ask a girl a question or staring at one and acting like you're NOT fantasizing about her?

I've never done it before and this was my biggest roadblock. I'd get myself all prepared for pickup, but always while travelling to the city I'd ignore a bunch of cute sets just because my mental blocks were going crazy. But you know what? Today I was sitting with an empty seat next to me on my way back home. A cute girl walks on, sits right beside me and suddenly my body goes into NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST mode. I calmed myself down after putting on some Drake, and halfway through the chill song I finally took off my earbuds and just gently nudged her.

She FREAKED OUT and the entire bus stopped and called me a rapist and filmed me and publicly humiliated me.

Wait. No. That's not how it happened :)

Actually, she just got MEGA spooked and got out of her chair while she took off her own earbuds. She looked at me a little strangely but that's because I first started off in english (I'm in Poland) and then I switched to polish. I joked with her "hey, it's okay! I'm not a murderer" and she relaxed and came back to her seat. She was from Ukraine, nice gal. And even though it was a little awkward, we had a good conversation about politics and studying in poland. She was shy and quite clearly nervous (I notice body language easily now that i've learned about it, I mean her thumbs showed it) but that's because she probably doesn't talk too often to people either. Which is okay! Here in Poland it's actually a little taboo to approach people. But I'm breaking it ;)

After she got off the bus I just had a giant smile on my face. I could care less whether anyone stared or thought anything of it. The best way to defuse a situation by the way is to get on her level. As in, acknowledge that it's nervous and just politely apologize. In America, some Redpill guys would say NEVER SAY SORRY.. but unfortunately that's not how it works over in Eastern Europe. Trust me, I tried! Girls were like 3x more receptive when I went all polite and stuff rather than RAH RAH COKE MODE 'MURICA!

Anyways, I'm excited that now I'll most likely try some public transportation approaches soon again. Hopefully. Oh boy.. it'll take a while before I'm used to it, but we'll get through the nerves :) I'm excited that I'm slowly learning more and more with each encounter. Honestly, that's what I think of it all as. A giant game that with each new person I meet I slowly am gaining more and more experience to unlock new levels.
