Crypto for the Average: Bitcoin Fork Buy...Sell...thoughts
Briefly; concerning last Fork:
- last time there were doubts and fear, this time--probably not so much
- this time....people are looking to score some extra coin-- duh --no brainer (talked about this prior)
- last time--there was a slight dip afterwards, ----might see it again--some money back to fiat,...some money back to alt coins, but if the total market cap is higher than ever-- signifies confidence, new people invested, etc.
Okay,...and lastly, and I'm a bit early on this, but......
if you look at the 6 month chart (world coin index will work just fine) concerning BTC, ....we went up 2, down 1 (april -mid June),...up 3, down 1.5 (mid July -Sept). Right now we're up 2.5 clicks --up 2.5k from last pull back. And yes..... news--good/bad/FUD plays a part, just.....look at the basic trend. Anyone that spits out exact #s when to buy/sell are only fooling themselves and others.
We've got what?-a week or so till the Fork? Most of you already have positions. Are you going to sell or just HODL for much longer?
My plan: I will hold till after the Fork. Hell...I'm up (you all are)...I/we might as well wait and see what happens. But as always, ...after the fork, if I see BTC skyrocket another 1k real fast.... I'm selling. Most of you watch the price every day. You know the drill. Straight vertical = sell.
---another note,.... Bitcoin cash went to 900 after a week or so after the Fork. Shall we see the same thing again with this Fork? Keep watch....and...yet again....if you see Straight up/doubling,...ya might consider selling. Your choice--I'm just reminding you of what happened last time (what price is bitcoin cash at now?.... nope--aint bragging..I sold at 380). We might see miners switch over---not sure, but definitely worth watching.
