Ferhat Su Kanalı
Ferhat Su Kanalı, Amasya şehir merkezinin dışında bulunmaktadır. Tarihi değeri olan bir yapı olması itibariyle oldukça önem arz etmektedir.
Ferhat Su Kanalı’nın Geç Helenistik dönem ile Erken Roma Dönemine ait olduğu bilinmektedir.
O zamanlar Amasya kentinin su ihtiyacını gidermek için yapılmıştır.
Su Kanalının yapımı için kayalar oyulup tüneller açılmıştır. Ancak bu o kadar da kolay olmamıştır.
Çünkü arazi eğimli bir yapıda olduğundan su terazisi denilen bir sistemi göz önünde bulundurarak yapmaya çalışmışlardır.

Ferhat Su Kanalı, şu an harabe durumundadır ve kullanılmamaktadır.
Ferhat Su kanalına, Amasya-Tokat yolu üzerinden ulaşabilirsiniz. Bu karayolunun 3.km sinden itibaren başlamaktadır.
Dolayısıyla ulaşım için özel araç gerekmektedir. Kanalı, Ferhat arası mevkiinden izlemeniz mümkündür.
Karayoluna paralel olarak 2 km uzunluğundaki bölümü bu bahsettiğim mevkiden izlenilebilmektedir.
