Bayezid Paşa Cami
Bayezid Paşa Camii, Amasya şehir merkezinde bulunan tarihi camilerden biridir. 1414 yılında Sadrazam Bayezid Paşa yaptırmıştır.
İlginç bir mimariye sahip olan caminin planı ters T şeklindedir. Bazı istisnalar dışında bu plan Bursa Yeşil Camii ile oldukça benzerlik göstermektedir.
Yapısı ve süslemeleri ile oldukça zarif bir görünüşe sahip olan bu tür camilere Zaviyeli camiler denilmektedir.
Bayezid Camii’nin en dikkat çeken bölümü son cemaat bölümüdür. İçerisinde beş bölümden oluşan bu bölüm, altı adet kalın kare paye duvarından yapılmıştır.
Bu bölümlerin her birinin üzerinde Türk üçgenleri bulunan sekizgen desenli kubbeler vardır. Bölümler ayrıca düzgün kesme taşlarla örülmüştür.
Caminin giriş kapısı da ahşaptan yapılmıştır. Ahşap olmasına rağmen oldukça zengin bezemelere sahiptir.
Cami, biri büyük diğeri ise küçük iki adet ibadet mekanına sahiptir. Mihrabın bulunduğu bölüm diğerinden daha küçüktür.
Bayezid Paşa Camii, Amasya şehir merkezindedir. Bayezid Paşa Mahallesindedir, aynı zamanda nehrin doğu kısmında bulunmaktadır.
