INTRODUCTION

Hi Steemians! Good to know everyone here is doing fine! In life we are faced with various options from which to make choices just as this contest has presented. The choices we finally chose or make over the other, has its trade-offs, the benefits or the repercussions that comes with it. But what could be the rationale for making a good quality choice? What options can we let go and what options can we choose?

To make my choice here, I am choosing the No 1 question, Crypto or Gold.

SHOULD I CHOOSE CRYPTO OVER GOLD?

Choosing to invest on Crypto or Gold lies on considering factors like the amount of capital, investment goals, strategy and risk tolerance.

Below are some the reasons I think crypto investment should be chosen just as I have done, over Gold investments:

Crypto:With little to even no amount, I can easily start my journey to investing in crypto projects. For instance, my journey to the steemit ecosystem started at no cost. We are all here because we could easily have access to Steem token.

Gold: But on the other hand, investing in
Gold can never be a free ride. Huge amount of Fiat money would be required for the investment.

As a means of payment, Gold is not a utility asset as the physical Gold can not be used to make daily purchases.

In terms of protection, the security features embedded in cryptocurrency makes it difficult for fraud and hacking. This high level protection raises investors' confidence on investing in cryptocurrency.

Investing in the physical Gold lacks protection or security as it is prone to be stolen.

There is a global accessibility to cryptocurrency as its divisibility gives investors the opportunity to own small fractions that can increase their investment holdings.

Gold is indivisible and there is a restricted access to Gold ownership as its investors undergo rigorous ownership process.

Though there are much more reasons to choose crypto over Gold investment , these are just but few reasons I chose crypto investment over Gold investment.
