INTRODUCTION

Hi Healthy Steemians! Here comes another healthy post to share with everyone in this community. When it comes to well-being, then health becomes top priority that has to be considered. Being healthy is a product of the food and fruits one takes. They contain vitamins, minerals as well as antioxidants that keep the body healthy.

Today, I'm here to help us explore the important role that eggs play in building a strong healthy body. Either the egg is boiled or fried, it is highly enriched with nutrients that nourishes the body. But what I'm presenting here is the boiled egg.

DESCRIPTION OF AN EGG

Majority of chicken eggs are laid by the female called Chicken called layers and produced by the poultry farmers. The chickens are rared between their first day old to four months and to some extent, five months. They start laying of eggs within their four and five months in which they have been really fed well with the required feed type, supplied with the needed vitamins, and well treated against diseases. Again, during the period of the egg laying, the chicken and the eggs are well protected from animals that could them or damage the eggs.

The chicken egg is made up of various components that make up a whole egg. These components are described below:

  • The shell of the egg:
    This is the topmost part of the egg having both an outer and inner shell membrane. Protein, calcium phosphate, and magnesium carbonate can be from the outer part of the shell. It has numerous pores which could only be seen with the microscope.

  • The egg yolk:
    This part of the egg contains a greater percentage of calories in the egg. It also contains vitamins, fat, calcium and folate.
    Some people prefer the yolk part of the egg.

Other components of the egg include the vitalline membrane, challazoe, blood spots, and germinal disc.

HEALTHY BENEFITS OF CHICKEN EGGS

Eggs are one of the foods that should not be found missing in our diets. This is because the food is enriched with numerous nutrients which help to supply the needed vitamins and minerals required by the body for healthy living. The health benefits of adding eggs to your diets include:

  • Eggs builds high density lipoprotein (HDL):
    The HDL is a good cholesterol and people having high HDL do not always have to contend with the risk of having stroke, heart diseases and other forms of health challenges. Eating at least between 1 to 3 eggs daily could increase your HDL levels.

  • For good eye health:
    Eggs contain zeaxanthin and lutein which are antioxidants that helps fight against the eyesight problems that comes with aging. These two antioxidants are contained in the egg yolk. Eating eggs especially the egg yolk could help to lower the risks having eye problems such cataracts and other eye problems.

  • Eggs lowers too much or excessive fat:
    Eating eggs reduces the risk of having what is known as central obesity and body fats within the abdomen body section.
    If you have gained excess weight and wants to lose weight, eat egg regularly.

  • Supplies protein and essential amino acids:
    Proteins is an essential nutrient needed by the body as it helps in building various body tissues. Having enough protein from egg helps to build the bone, lowers the risk of body pressure and building the muscles as well.

  • Eggs helps to build cell membranes:
    The choline contained in eggs helps in building the cell membranes. Choline is classified in the in the vitamin B class. It is also has a part in building signal molecules residing in the brain.

CONCLUSION

There are other several health benefits of eating eggs. The ones I have come up with in this post, are just few of them.

By consuming at least few eggs a day, would build and add up to our immune system which in the overall, enhances our health.

You have told many benefits of egg. There are many benefits that I am very surprised to see. There are so many benefits in egg. When I have pain in my body, I use egg instead of taking pills. I do boil with warm milk to use it my body gets rid of it you really don't mention its many benefits I will make it a habit of scope to use so that I can get many such benefits
