Coldest Night of My Life

Hiking across Colchuck Lake in what is known as The Enchantments in Washington State. We spent that night at the top of Aasgard Pass which you can see looming in the background. Three of us snuggled into a two man tent and we still shivered all night. When we woke up in the morning, the sun was shining and the wind had died down. I was the only person in a hundred miles that knew it was my birthday. That made me smile.
