Based on the article I have read stated that the owners of telegram are confident to offers $200,00 into MTProto which is the backbone of telegram communications.

On the other hand, whatsapp is prone to hacks and attack. The security are not match for telegram.

Telegram is fast than WhatsApp

I have been enduring and using WhatsApp since 2012. I found many disadvantages, it's has been getting slow. Some notifications will be arrived by a couple of minutes.

Other wise, I got into telegram since 2015. My experiences told me that it has never get me down.

You can talk in secret

The important reason is telegram allows us to send end to end encrypted messages. The way to use it, just click contact and new secret chats and select with who contact do you prefer to talk and start talking.

Telegram Will Never Show You Ads
Telegram is a not profit organization, the founder use their owns money for it. .if they need money. Telegram will ask for donations instead of charging for the app or showing you ads.

**Privation is the individual needed **
Again, Telegram is heavily encrypted and secure. And as of right now, no one is indexing your data and using it to sell you better ads. Which is what Facebook might do with WhatsApp if it wants to make any of the 19 Billion dollar investment back.
