Uganda coffee about to change the game?

Uganda is Africas largest coffee exporter, but most people have not ever heard of coffee from Uganda, let alone know for certain if they have ever had it. Uganda has produced high grade Arabica coffee mostly for export for quite some time. Long held in high regard by roasters and cafes in the know it balanced extreme value with mass appeal. I have always personally loved Uganda as an origin and felt that its mostly shadowed status by that of more well known origins like Ethiopia and Kenya.

Recently Uganda entered into the auction market system much like its closest neighbor Kenya in an effort to maximize their premium as well as reward growers with particularly sought after lots. This could be a huge game changer for African origins and could greatly appreciate both the value and the worlds familiarity with Ugandan coffee.
