Sandpipers and allies

Scolopacidae could be a giant numerous family of tiny to medium-sized shorebirds together with the sandpipers, curlews, godwits, shanks, tattlers, woodcocks, snipes, dowitchers and phalaropes. the bulk of those species eat tiny invertebrates picked out of the mud or soil. Variation long of legs and bills allows multiple species to insert a similar environment, notably on the coast, while not direct competition for food. There ar nine species that are recorded in People's Republic of Bangladesh.
