Who says regular home cats unprofitable?
I went to Kundasang yesterday to have a quick escape before return to work tomorrow. It's not the first time I went to Kundasang cause Kundasang is one of the most popular places to visit if you come to Sabah.
Cat Village at the Mesilau Kundasang
It's my first time visited this place. Avoiding the massive visitors who went to visit the Diary Farm Kundasang, we managed to find this Cat Village on our ways to have a lunch at the H.Benjamin Restaurant located in the foothills of the Kinabalu Mountain.
The road to the Cat Village were still not upgraded. We had to drive slowly prevent from big holes and uneven road.
The cat owner surely has a great ideas for making the places as spot for visitors to come. Mostly the cat were just a regular cat and few are import cat. Because the kids didn't used to see and touch cat, for them it's fun and they are happy.
They are using the iron fence and modified the fence as the route for the cats from different places but still in a cage.
The entrance payment for Adults is MYR 5, Kids age 7-12 is MYR 3 and below 7 is free of charge. You can feed the cats by buying a Cat Food which is MYR 2 for a smaller container.
The owner says that they could get MYR 250 per days and but depending on the weather and holidays.
The cats surely know how to pose.

It's not really done yet, but its there and fun to look at sometimes if you like cats. :)
It's fun to bring kids there, especially cat is rarely they seen in their real life. I don't keep cat at home because I don't like the cat smell.. 😅
