Have you ever seen this giant mango?

If you lived in Borneo Islands surely you would have known or heard this kind of fruits. We here at Sabah Borneo called it Bambangan, which is native fruits and you can see it at the local market. It's hard to see this fruits in the big market due to not everyone had grown this fruits.

The trees surely may been included within the tallest trees. With the brown colour and thick skins, it's protect the fruits from the animals.

Usually we can added this raw fruits with soup. I love it when boiled water and put the raw bambangan with salted fish, added some salt and the soup is s ready. Also we can marinate the ripe fruit with the seeds to be a Jeruk or pickle.

Also we can just eat the raw fruit instead. It has sweet taste with the fiber. Love the taste of the native fruit.

You should try all the native fruit in Sabah.. Surely rare. It's best to eat with 🌶 at any time, anywhere. Today I eat the ripe one with rice and fried fish.. Surely hometown made my day blessed.
