Macaques in Bohol

Macaques are short-tailed monkeys found in rocky regions such as Asia and Africa. Here in the Philippines, there are many of these monkeys in the wild but some people are capturing them and making them as pets at home. You can visit them in Cantomucad, Loon, Bohol.

We got the chance to meet them when we went there. We were told to bring peanuts to feed them. They were playful and funny.
