Really interesting and informative post! I don't know if it's just me but I don't think foraging seems to be a big a thing in Australia. I do live in the city so I wouldn't even be sure where to start! Following as I'd love to see more :)

Thanks! That's interesting about Australia not being so big on foraging. There are probably some good wild foods to eat, even in the cities. Out in the natural areas, you have so many things unique to your continent. But where there's agriculture or development, there are surely weeds that were originally brought in as food.

I'm a fan of starting with what plants you already know, rock solid. And then finding out if they are edible. Or start with trees, because they don't move around -- once you find an edible one, you can go back year after year.
