Hello Steemit! ( a 'delayed train' from Malaysia)

Hi there steemians! OMG, I’m so excited to join you guys in this community! My name is Atikah and I’m from Kedah, Malaysia.

Yes, that’s me. (I'm kidding)

I currently an economics student from one of the local university and about to graduate soon (hopefully) around November this year. Nothing much that I can tell about myself. I’ve been reading some introduction posts from the other user while waiting for my Steemit account to be approved to get some idea what I should write but then I realize that this is about myself, why I should refer to the others?

Then, who am I?

I want to tell you that I’m an artist or cartoonist, I can draw, I love to sketch and doodling. But then, I look at my drawing, again, comparing to the other users: I’m suck!

(This is one of them. My internship boss asked me to sketch his face then turns out it looks far..far away from him. I told him I can’t)

What else? I can tell you I’m a professional crypto trader. But then I realize that I just start to trade cryptocurrencies last month and I lost half of my money because of panicky sold my bitcoin when it breakdown last December. LOL.

Am I a traveler? Quite a traveler I guess. I do love traveling but as a student with limited money like me, not many interesting place I can go. But still, I love to share with you guys this 'limited' journey. LOL.

A writer? Well, I do wrote some short stories and poems but in Bahasa Melayu. My English is suck! Still, even in Bahasa, I’m not a good writer. I can write about a paragraph of very beautiful story but then I got distracted, or bored. I couldn’t continue to write. If I did, it only turns out a disastrous.

Ouh, wait! Now I know what I really good at: Being an ADHDer. This is my professionalism. Well, I’ll tell you about this one later.

So, how I joined Streemit?

I happened to google something about crypto last week then I found one of the entry is from this website, Steemit. I wondered why the post and comments got some ‘value’ and that make me curious to find out. Then, it was like.. 'Seriously, in 2018? What the hell am I messing around the internet and I didn’t know that this kind of social media ever exist?!’ Well, I guess I’m the ‘delayed train’.

I registered to Steemit as soon as I know about this website and I'm super excited to join the community. But then I have to face another 'delayed train' to get my account verified. My excitement went down and I nearly gave up on trying to join this community. But nahh..after a week, my account finally got verified. I found out that this waiting game is not unusual for the new user. How long does it take for your account to get verified? Anyone take longer than mine?

Now I just regained back my excitement and about to explore this Steemit world. Any suggestion about some cool blog that I can read or follow? I interested in almost everything from motivational, fitness and healthy, food, travel, or arts to business, economics and finance including the crypto world, and many more. So if you want to share your own or the others blog and contents that is interesting for me to read I'll really appreciate it.

I hope I can make some friends here not only from Malaysia but any other side of the world, and I hope we can share all the positive spirit and spread the love. XOXO.
