Kyogre Raid Hour and Mudkip Community Day announcement

Today between 6-7 pm local time was another Legendary Raid Hour featuring Kyogre. We made plans in our group for it and met up at the De Werft Gym. Some people were only able to do 1 Raid and we were with exactly 20 for this Raid so we didn't have to split. For some reason we had Windy weather so Dragon, Flying and Psychic spawns and damage were boosted. Which is why I received Dragonite, Espeon and Mewtwo in my recommended Pokémon for the Raid. I just rolled with the suggestions instead of trying to change them, since we were with plenty and took the Kyogre out easily.

After that Raid we went to the PC Gym where we were still with 18 accounts. Some people had to leave after that one too. We then went to the market square for Raid at the Familie Gym. For this one we were still with 13, so it took a bit longer to defeat the Kyogre but it still went down really well. Only a few people had all their Pokémon faint when the Kyogre was almost defeated.

I managed to catch all 3 of the Kyogre. There weren't enough people still interested to do a 4th one, otherwise I would've done one. Especially since I was not lucky to come across a Shiny Kyogre since its return as a Raid Boss. I do have one already though, so I guess I might want the Shiny odds for when Groudon returns later this week. I do wonder if Groudon will be featured in a Legendary Raid Hour as well, because these weekly Legendary Raid Hours were confirmed for June. We'll see if they announce Legendary Raid Hours for July too.

Niantic has announced the Community Day for July. Which will feature the Mud Fish Pokémon, Mudkip and bring Shiny Mudkip, Marshtomp and Swampert into the game. This one will take place from 4 pm to 7 pm local time just like Raikou Raid Day this weekend. Due to the summer Niantic has decided to let these events start a bit later, so the temperature outside can be a bit cooler. The Mudkip Community Day will take place on Sunday, July 21. It will come with an extra bonus of 3x Catch XP during the event.
