But they don't have to. It's mostly about attitude.

Sure, I get it. People love their weekends, why wouldn't they? Two days away from the office and clocks and bosses. What's not to love. The difference though is we are entrepreneurs. What does that mean as far as Mondays go? We work our own hours, usually. The only "boss" we have to answer to, in most cases anyway, is ourselves. We should be excited about each and every new day, no matter what name it has.
Many of the self-employed people I know start their day at 5 or 6 am? Awful, right? Not really. By noon they have almost certainly done more work than most others do in a 9-5 job. Whether it's answering emails or writing new blog posts or new marketing materials. It's all about changing your mindset. When I was a kid cough cough years ago, that was the thinking. Work hard five days a week, enjoy two days off, back to work... ad infinitum.
The problem with that is, sure you enjoy Saturday and part of sunday. Part of your mind is already thinking about Monday morning. So we don't really enjoy 2 full days off. This is where owning your own business pays off in many ways. Your "weekend" is whenever you want it to be, not when the 'normals' tell you it is supposed to be.
When you start this journey, it will mean hard work and long hours, for a time. As opposed to fewer hours in a 9-5 situation for a lot longer period of time.
