Let's talk horror! My short review on Narcosis
A few days ago I played Narcosis on stream, and I figured I might as well share my experience with my fellow horror loving steemians!

It was kinda funny how the day before I started playing this game, I was talking about how shit scared I'd be, to be stuck under water, and if I'd make a game myself, I would add some huge sharks to that very concept, make it VR compatible and that'd would be the perfect horror game to make me instantly poop my pants!
Then I got hooked up with this one! Luckily no sharks, but just the idea of being stuck under water with limited oxygen already managed to do the trick! No pants was pooped but it did get me shit scared at times!
Although you can play this game in VR, I just played it on pc. I do believe VR would add a lot to it though!
What I like:
- The concept itself (the psychological part of being stuck underwater).
- The sound design and voice acting were done very well (could have been used a bit more imo).
- There are some really atmospheric parts in the game that I enjoyed a lot.
- The jump scares got me good! Every single time!!!!
What I didn't like that much:
- It felt a bit clumsy at times to fight off creatures.
- The suit sometimes blocked me from having a good overview of the environment.
- It felt as the same creatures were used to often.
- I actually ended up getting stuck in the game because there was a lack of guidance (I didn't know what it was they wanted me to do, and I ended up getting lost as well...).
- i think it might be prized a bit too high for about 4 hours of gameplay
Overall I'd give this game a 5,5/10. Because even though I got stuck, it's hard to actually let go of the game! I was really curious to see how it'd end!
