Night Photography Contest - Night Light Reflection

One night somewhere in Fukuoka, Japan, me and my friends took a long walk along a long foot bridge to the other side of the road, then went to the riverbank to explore the city. As we reached the water's edge, I was greeted by a breathtaking scene: the buildings across the river stood tall and majestic, their lights twinkling like stars against the dark sky. The reflections of the buildings' lights in the water were perfect, creating an almost magical effect.

The city lights painted the river with streaks of blue, red, green, orange, and white, each ripple in the water distorting and dancing with the colors. I stood there, mesmerized, watching as the city transformed into a dreamlike canvas. The gentle splashing of the water, the sound of the whistling wind, and the distant hum of vehicles were the only sounds that made the scene feel even more surreal.

Then it came into our minds to take photos of our silhouettes with the light reflection as our backdrop. The feel of the place gives romantic vibes to couples as well.

To end this post, I would say that I will remember this experience in my core because it was a beautiful reminder that even in the darkest times, there's still always a light to guide us and a reflection to remind us of the beauty around us.
