What do you do in Astroneer?

As an Astroneer, your duty is to explore the dangerous worlds set before you, and their deepest, darkest caverns. Blast through the terrain to uncover precious artifacts and materials you can use to fuel your quest to make your way upon other planets, figuring out what mysteries await. Along the path to figure out the universe, you will find out not everything will come as it seems.

What can you do?

In Astroneer you can build your own base however you would like, you start out by landing on a planet with a home base like center pod. You must gather resources in order to expand your base, adding on more and more pods to your bases' collection. Collecting these resources requires tactful decisions because you have an oxygen tank at which you can only go so far before you start to suffocate. Not to mention your suit has a set amount of power as to which you can use to mine, and gather resources. After used for a short while it will be drained and must be recharged.

Dig deep, you must go deep into caverns to find valuable stones, gems, and artifacts. These caves, and caverns can pose a threat to you and your friends, so make sure you are prepared for the expedition that could make or break your entire operation. These minerals you are looking for help advance your base as well as aide you in your suit advancements. Making battery packs, and oxygen tanks so you can go deeper, and further than the last time. Finding more artifacts, and learning new technology.

• Printer: Fabricates most of the Tier-2 Modules
• Research: Unlocks new schematics out of Artifacts
• Smelter: Refine raw materials into its refined forms
• Trade Platform: Trades resources into another
• Vehicle Bay: Fabricates Vehicles and its attachments
• Large Storage: Provide attachment slots for up to four Tier-2 objects
