Le due fotografie ritraggono una tienda statale in MLC (Moneta Liberamente Convertibile) a Las Tunas strapiena di ogni tipo di mercanzia e il portal dove la famiglia ha aperto una rivendita.

Nel primo caso si tratta di una piacevole sorpresa, in questi ultimi due anni, almeno qua' a Tunas, le tiendas statali non spiccavano per la quantità e la qualità dei prodotti.
Poi chiaro, si acquista in Mlc quando i salari sono in Pesos e questa è una anomalia poco piacevole.
Prezzi abbastanza alti ma la gente compera.

Per quanto riguarda le piccole rivendite particular la città ne è piena, tanto che mentre prima lo stato ti dava 3 mesi più altri eventuali 3 senza pagare tasse ora, per le nuove aperture, si paga alla Onat dal primo mese.
Assolvono una funzione sociale importante rifornendo i Barrios di ciò che serve a qualunque ora senza più obbligare la gente ad estenuanti code di ore e ore sotto il sole per acquistare, ad esempio, il detergente.

Senza contare che ora nelle tiendas statali (quasi tutte) si paga in Mlc mentre in queste rivendite si paga in Cup
Detto questo hanno anche l'obbligo di consentire pagamenti on line che alcuni effettuano.
Altro vantaggio è che queste sono sempre aperte mentre le statali alle 17 (spesso anche prima) chiudono, proprio quando la gente esce dai posti di lavoro e deve fare la spesa.

Il permesso di aprire queste rivendite è arrivato, dallo stato, con una ventina di anni di ritardo.
