Intanto Buona Pasqua dall'Avana

Ieri sera sono tornato a cena al Mambo, è la terza sera su 4, quando si trova un posto dove si mangia bene non lo si deve mollare.
La prima sera aragosta, la seconda filet de pescado, ieri finalmente avevano pulpo.
Discreto ma non lo sanno cucinare, lo cuociono troppo e risulta un po' gommoso.
Comunque pulpo, mojito, jugo de mango, arroz e un trago di Santiago 8 anni 9 euro...fate un po' voi.

La sera prima ero andato di fronte al porto al Templete.
Lasciate perdere.
Bella location a riva mare, prezzi nella norma ma 45 minuti di attesa, aragosta non freschissima e 10% di servizio/coperto/propina infilati nel conto.
Per carità, parliamo di nulla, è successo anche in un locale a Tunas, pero un po' da fastidio.

Un consiglio, chiedete sempre in quale divisa si paga.
Un ristorante in Lamparilla, quasi di fronte alla gelateria Pistacchio, mi pare si chiami 361, espone prezzi interessanti tipo 1200 pulpo, solo che i due zeri sono scritti piccolini...ho chiesto in realtà sono 12 USD...se vuoi puoi pagare in Cup...col cambio a 300.😡

Questa sera con l'amico italiano con cui ero venuto in pandemia e che oramai quasi vive qua' andiamo al St.George, domani a Guanabacoa col Boss all'Amore mio e martedì Habana Blues, ristorante aperto e gestito da artisti.

Last night I returned to Mambo for dinner, it's the third evening out of 4, when you find a place where you eat well you shouldn't give it up.
The first evening lobster, the second filet de pescado, yesterday they finally had pulpo.
Decent but they don't know how to cook it, they overcook it and it turns out a bit chewy.
However pulpo, mojito, jugo de mango, arroz and a trago de Santiago 8 years 9 euros... do whatever you want.

The night before I had gone across the harbor to the Templete.
Let it go.
Nice location by the sea, normal prices but 45 minutes of waiting, lobster not very fresh and 10% service/cover charge/propina added to the bill.
For goodness sake, let's talk about nothing, it also happened in a place in Tunas, but it's a bit annoying.

A piece of advice, always ask in which currency you pay.
A restaurant in Lamparilla, almost opposite the Pistacchio ice cream shop, I think it's called 361, has interesting prices like 1200 pulpo, except that the two zeros are written very small... I actually asked, it's 12 USD... if you want you can pay in Cup...with the gearbox at 300.😡

This evening with the Italian friend with whom I came during the pandemic and who now almost lives here we go to St. George, tomorrow to Guanabacoa with the Boss at Amore mio and on Tuesday Habana Blues, a restaurant open and run by artists.
