Color Challenge Tuesday — Yellow.

Recently visited the Dresden Museum of Contemporary Artists. I was impressed with the work of Gerhard Richard, who works in the style of abstract painting. Two of his works decided to share with you dear Steemians. The yellow color predominates in them.
Gerhard Richter (1932) - contemporary artist of Germany. His works are included in the collections of the largest museums in Europe. In 2005, he took the first place in the annual list of the magazine "Capital" - the most expensive and successful masters of modern German painting.

A fragment of Richter's painting "Skull and Candle" is placed on the cover of Sonic Youth's album "Daydream Nation". The artist, who admitted his love for the collective's creative work, refused to charge musicians for using in the design of his work. The original canvas is now in the working studio of Sonic Youth in New York.
