Lake Laut Tawar

Lake Laut Tawar, that is the name given by the Gayo tribe for this 5472 hectare lake, lake Laut Tawar is located in Aceh province of central aceh district, the lake is like a blue carpet tapestry if we look from above, it is like the remnants of sea water who were trapped on land during a massive storm thousands of years ago.
Not yet clear Until now why the lake is located in Takengon City, Central Aceh, Aceh Province is called Lake Laut Tawar, probably because of the area like the sea but the water is not salty alias bargain and here also no waves or tides like in the sea.
