My First Time Using Watercolor

This was my first time using Watercolor. 

I made the mistake of drawing the initial concept too dark in pencil. I've heard that this is a common mistake for people who experimenting with this particular medium.

My advice to future watercolor artist is to draw lightly, and don't bother to shade in the picture. You shade using the paint. Light colors first, then dark.
