Inktober 2017 Personal Highlights (Part 5)

in #art7 years ago

Hello again guys and thank you for stopping in for Part 5 of this series! For those of you who are new, Welcome!! If you’d like you can check out my previous posts on my Inktober adventures. And for those of you loyal followers returning, Welcome back!!

Today I’ve got day 28 of Inktober, working off of the official Inktober prompt list: Fall.

Admittedly, I didn’t get super creative with this prompt. I decided to incorporate your typical fall essentials: a pumpkin, crunchy fall leaves, and some festive acorns to top it off. Even though, the subjects are simple, I did really end up enjoying the juxtaposition of everything. Simple and sweet. And sometimes that’s enough.

This isn’t the first drawing I exercised using stippling, and I’m growing to like it more and more... even with the hand cramps that may follow finishing a piece. Still, I think it’s worth it.

Materials Used:
-Strathmore Multi Media Paper
-Pigma Micron Pens (Brush Pen and Sizes 005 and 08)

I hope you enjoyed hearing me talk a little bit about this simple drawing. Does it remind anybody else of a clock? I think it could work, yeah?

Take care everybody, I hope you all make it a wonderful day!
