Google will give light on the Internet!

in #google7 years ago

Jumbo Bangla Desk: Google is going to bring light beam technology to deliver internet services in rural areas. This initiative is the reason why users of India's remote areas can access the Internet more easily in the neighboring countries of Bangladesh. According to the company, now they are working with a telecom operator in Andhra Pradesh. Trying to provide internet service through Free Space Optical Communication (FSOC)

How will FSOC work?
It is known that the FSOC link will use light rays as a medium. That is, in general the optical fiber cable is required for the Internet connection, just like the light rays. This will not necessarily be a cable. And since the cable will not be used, the cost will be reduced quite a bit.
Boxes of FSOC will be mounted on roofs and towers of various houses. Communication will be made through them via light rays. Some Google engineers are expected to complete this work by 2018.
