Yesterday is the day of Eid al-Adha, or known by the day cutting the sacrificial animal, therefore I want to convey a story about the husbands cuts.
So the short story is, I once read an Arabic story where a man marries a virgin and young woman.
Still fairly new marriage, the man had brought his wife home to the home of a woman's parents.
The reason the wife returned is so trivial, because the wife can not cook properly.
When the man arrived at the house-in-law, he immediately conveyed, "Sir, I return this child to the father, because he can not be a good wife, can not cook."
Spontaneously the father fell silent, and with grief, he rose from his seat and left without a word.
A few moments later, the father returned with a machete and handed it to his son-in-law.
"Son, try to teach me too, how to be a good husband, please take this machete and slaughter the goat behind the house." Bargain the in-laws.
"I can not father" Husband evasive.
The father-in-law immediately said, "If the kindness of a wife is only measured by his pandainya cooking, then the goodness of the husband should also be measured by his ability to slaughter the goat, if slaughtering a goat can not, and when to be a good husband?" 😄
