Snow Kingdom - snow paralysed Croatia

It is a bare beginning and we are already in the  chaos. Winters in my country are short but     vivacious, we have a really uncomfortable climate and steep weather changes that usually cause chaos and more over, the complete collapse.

Snow  usually doesn’t come nice and easy, it is accompanied with the wind that ranges from mildly strong to hurricane, electrical thunderstorms are no exception - ice and cold rain makes the whole thing even more impossible.

The traffic is usually the first one that goes  completely off, everything literary stops - so if you have to travel by the bus or a car better prepare well for the winter conditions, or at least make sure to have a full tank - so you can sleep in the car if you stuck somewhere.

In almost every occasion similar to this one trains are  stopped and bridges are completely closed. Ships and ferryboats are also on the hold.

On our fortune, this conditions are short living and usually the additional routes of traffic are provided and everything goes pretty smooth from there on.

I will show you a few interesting pictures from our daily news. At the moment I was taking some of my own shots a very long thundering sound shattered our neighborhood - I am still in disbelief if that was a minute-long thunder or an earthquake. The earthquakes are also rather interesting, they hardly shake anything but a sound itself is terrifying.
