Olive Oil & its Benefits

What is Olive Oil?

Olive Oil can be referred as the Oil obtained from the Fruits of Olive Trees. People have been using Olive Oil for many Years but Nowadays it has gained a massive Fanbase due to its Health Benefits and Culinary Usefulness.

How is Olive Oil made?

So it's quite easy to extract Olive Oil. First, you need to gather Olive fruits and squash them into a paste like Substance.
The resulting paste is stirred to release the oil droplets in a process called Maceration after that let it just settle down in a centrifuge. After the water is removed, what is left is olive oil.

Types of Olive Oil

So basically there are three types of Olive Oils which are stated below as follows

1. Refined Olive Oil

As the name itself suggests, its a Refined version of Olive Oil in which the Olive Oil goes through another process of Refinement in which some bad tastes and odours are removed from the Oil.

2. Unrefined Olive Oil

In this type of Olive Oil you get the best in line Olives in your Oil. As this Oil goes through no Refinement it requires best Olives in order to get a good Oil ready.

3. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

This is kind of the Top of the Line variety of Olive Oils. In this type of Olive Oil, you get a nice fruity taste and smell of Olives which is Unpolished and Unrefined. This can also be an acquired Taste.
