Let's Debunk the one misconception about Crypto Mining.
Many people ask me if a good Internet Connection is absolutely necessary for Mining.
Actually you don't need super high speed internet to Mine Cryptocurrencies. If you have a Decent Internet Connection you can Mine Cryptocurrencies from your Home. If I have to say a point it's the Ping that plays a small but important role in this Mining process.
What is a Ping?
In computerized language Ping is a specific method for sending messages from one Computer to another Computer far away from the Origin.
So the lower the Distance between your Mining Rig and the Pool you are Mining from the lower your Ping. If your Ping is lower you have a High probability of finding more Blocks.
For example I am staying about 1000 miles away from the Mining Pool I am mining from while someone with the same Internet Connection is about 800 Miles away from his Mining Pool. So if we compete to get a Single Block probability is that I would lose most of the Time.
So that is the reason you need to select a Mining Pool which is closer to your Mining Rig. That will bump up your chances of getting more Blocks which will lead to more Rewards.

Yeah, but a lot of coins coming out now don't have mining as an option... I have a feeling that mining will be a thing of the past pretty soon :(
