Concept of the Resteem Bots
I have always wondered what these so-called Resteem Bots have in Value?
And each and every time I got the answer as Zero.
What is a Resteem Bot?
So Resteem Bot is like a Steemit Account who has teens and thousands of Followers and they will boast you about the fact that they are capable of providing the Average users a lot of Exposure which might lead them to lots of Upvotes.
Usually, the Resteem Bots charge about 1 SBD to Resteem One Post which is just a waste of your Money as I believe those thousands of Followers they have obtained are just by asking others to Follow back.
Now I don't mean that the Resteeming Option is useless. It is very useful if used correctly.
Long Story Short I want you Guys to decide if it is worth it to pay for these Resteeming Services.
As frankly speaking I believe those are just a Waste of Money.

I think there is definitely a lure to newer users of the resteem services. I used them frequently in my first weeks on the platform, before I realized, as you state, that the followers they had amassed were either muting them, or ignoring them.
The lure of getting your post seen by thousands of people when you are first starting out is a pretty big deal. And a lot of people are willing to throw a couple of bucks at them in the hope that a few of those thousands of followers will check out their post.
Of course you quickly learn that the people following the resteem services re in the same boat as you, minnows trying to get attention from a big fish. And the big fish don' follow resteem services. So it is, as you say, a waste of money.
I'm kind of enjoying all of the 0.001 SBD transfers in my wallet from these services wanting me to send them money for resteems. I figure eventually all of those 0.001 transfers will make up for the SBD I sent to such services in the early days. hahaha
Resteem, like voting, rules and guidelines should be on STINC's list of things to fix.... if they weren't so busy with SMT...
I think a limit to daily resteems would be easy to code and reign in these services pretty effectively. A much easier fix than bid-bots and reward pool allocations.

I agree with you bro. I am a new user here so for my post promotion, I once transferred 1 sbd to @hottopic but it neither resteemed my post nor did it returned my money. As you can see many resteem bots have almost zero or negative reputation which makes their posts invisible. Many users consider their posts as spam.
So I think using them is just the wasting of money.

I used to pay for resteems from these bots but then o realised it was a waste of money.
I thought about, if such a bot got just followers who don't even upvote from their feeds, how would my post be seen.
Let's not forget the fact that these resteem bots resteem hundreds of crappy posts that makes even the followers go biased of their feeds.

I believe it makes the voters and readers lose interest a little too quickly.

I totally agree with you its actually a waste of money doing resteem bot. Most times users pay as much as 1.SDB to be resteemed at the end of the process you may not even get up to that amount if people get to vote for you.
I even prefer your contest to actually paying for resteem. Yours looks transparent, free and simple others, are just a waste of money.
