Russian language is very beautiful and expressive. And also it is very complex for foreigners :)

I plan to make a series of posts to get you familiar with some interesting facts about my native language. So this is the first part and it is about Russian alphabet.

You can make a sentence with five letters that go in alphabetical order

There are two letters that do not have pronunciation

Here they are:

We call them just "Hard sign" and "Soft sign". They are used to make the preceding consonant sound harder or softer.
